The Democratic Republic of the Congo is one of Africa's largest countries and hosts frequent high‑level multilingual meetings at the presidential level, which demand secure, clear and efficient communication tools. 

Hongye Furniture Group delivered a fully customized furniture solution for the Presidential Conference Room of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).  The project integrated high‑end solid wood furniture with an advanced paperless and simultaneous interpretation system, transforming the Presidential Palace into a modern, intelligent conference hub.

Tailor‑Made Furniture for Advanced Conference Technology

Hongye designed and produced a series of large solid wood conference tables, presidential desks, and matching console furniture using solid teak combined with MDF and high‑quality paint finishes, suitable for executive‑level international meetings and government use. Each position was precisely customized to accommodate flush‑mounted lifting LCD screens, conference microphones, interpretation units, and paperless control panels while maintaining a clean, dignified appearance.

The furniture layout was engineered to support VISSONIC's integrated system, including:

• Flush‑mount lifting desktop LCD display system

• Electronic nameplate / table display system

• Large‑screen display and camera tracking system

• Digital discussion, voting, and interpretation system

• High‑fidelity sound reinforcement, recording, and signal matrix switching systems

All cut‑outs, cable channels, and equipment interfaces were pre‑engineered in the factory to ensure plug‑and‑play installation on site and long‑term structural stability.
